Bible Study

Our Wednesday evening programme is an opportunity for anyone and everyone at Druminnis to spend some time digging a bit further into our Bibles and the chance to learn from, and encourage each other.

One Wednesday night each month we have a Bible study In the Red Room. Sam leads this and there’s always the opportunity to ask questions or join in the  discussion (or just listen to others throwing their thoughts in!) We’ve looked at some of the difficult questions and topics surrounding our Christian faith and sometimes work our way through a Bible book series. There’ll also be ten minutes at the end when we take time to pray about the life and work of our congregation and for other situations as they arise. (Whatever material is covered that Wednesday night is repeated the following Wedneday at Redrock in the Loft).

On the third Wednesday in the cycle we’ll be starting our Fellowship Groups this winter. In smaller groups of 8-10 people we’ll be taking an opportunity once a month to meet  over tea, coffee and biscuits to think a bit more about the topics we’ve looked at on Sunday mornings. As well as applying Sunday’s sermons to our everyday lives we hope these groups will encourage us to pray more helpfully for our friends at Druminnis.
